Reconstructing Pinoy Compuworld


I’m reconstruction Pinoy Compuworld. Why? Because I had the bright idea of changing my theme. Now all of the posts are messed up. I originally assumed that it would be darn seamless but I guess I was wrong. darn darn darn! For the people who are going to this site, i apologize I’m working on it and will get the posts cleaned as soon as possible.

Pinoy Compuworld now completely running Wordpress


After much tweaking and fiddling with Wordpress and Wordpress Plugins, I finally completed the transition of Pinoy Compuworld from Joomla! to Wordpress. Using Wordpress seems much easier especially you find the perfect theme for your site. Now I don’t want to start a comparison debate between Joomla And Wordpress and I do love a Joomla and its many extensions. But there were a lot of pitfalls (which I will discuss in awhile) that made me decide to move to wordpress. These include:

Pinoy Money Talk SEO Contest - First SEO Contest Joined


I am joining the Pinoy Money Talk SEO Contest! This will be my first attempt in joining an SEO Contest and I am rather optimistic that this will allow met sharpen some of my SEO Skills. SEO Contests have always fascinated me since it essentially pits every Blogger and SEM dude around with their SEO skills. The Thinkpad series (both Lenovo and IBM) has been well known for the its Trackpoint pointing device. On its low end to mid range system, this is the the only way to navigate / control the mouse cursor unless you use an external pointing device such as a mouse.

Setup a Linksys WPC54G v3 Card on Ubuntu Linux


Ubuntu Linux have a come along since it Warty Warthog days. The desktop is now really really refined and its packages despite some being bleeding edge, are very very stable. While Ubuntu 6.06 or fondly called as Dapper Drake is known to have Long Term Support (hence the LTS in its name), I still prefer using the latest build, in this case, is Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft.
